I have gambled on millions of rounds of vingt-et-un. I started working my way into the gambling halls when I was 16. I have enjoyed online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a little while. With all that said I have still spent a lot of money at blackjack. The casinos have made it almost impossible to defeat the game.
I still like the game and gamble on a regular basis. Over the years I have gambled on a variation of 21 called "The Take it Leave it Method". You will not get rich with this method or defeat the casino, still you will experience a lot of fun. This method is founded on the idea that chemin de fer appears to be a match of streaks. When you are on fire your on fire, and when you’re not you’re NOT!
I gamble with basic strategy twenty-one. When I do not win I bet the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand. If I do not win again I bet the table minimum on the next hand again etc. Whenever I hit I take the payout paid to me and I wager the original bet again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I keep wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I return the action back down to the original value.
I am very disciplined and do not back out. It gets very thrilling on occasion. If you succeed at a few hands in series your wagers go up very quickly. Before you realize it you are wagering $100-200/ hand. I have had awesome streaks a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Paris a number of years back with $750 after 20 minutes using this method! And a couple of weeks ago in Sin City I left a game with $1200!
You need to understand that you can lose a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be surprised at the streaks you notice playing this way. Below is a chart of what you would wager if you kept winning at a 5 dollar table.
Wager 5 dollar
Take five dollar paid to you, leave the initial $5 bet
Wager 5 dollar
Leave $5 paid to you for a total bet of $10
Wager ten dollar
Take ten dollar paid to you, leave the original $10 bet
Bet $10
Leave ten dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $20
Wager twenty dollar
Take twenty dollar paid to you, leave the original twenty dollar wager
Bet $20
Leave twenty dollar paid to you for a total bet of 40 dollar
Wager $40
Take 40 dollar paid to you, leave the original $40 bet
Bet $40
Leave $40 paid to you for a total bet of 80 dollar
Wager $80
Take 80 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original $80 bet
Wager $80
Leave eighty dollar paid to you for a total bet of $160
Bet 160 dollar
Take $160 paid-out to you, leave the initial 160 dollar bet
If you departed at this moment you would be up 315 dollar !!
It’s herculean to go on a streak this long, but it often happen. And when it does you can’t deviate and drop your wager or the end result won’t be the same.
