I have wagered on millions of rounds of 21. I began working my way into the gambling halls when I was 16. I have played online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short while. Given all that I have still spent a lot of money at vingt-et-un. The casinos have made it nearly impossible to beat the house.

I still enjoy the game and bet on a regular basis. Over the years I have wagered on a type of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You will not get flush with this method or defeat the house, nonetheless you will experience an abundance of fun. This tactic is based on the fact that vingt-et-un seems to be a game of streaks. When you are hot your hot, and when you are not you are NOT!

I wager with basic strategy twenty-one. When I do not win I bet the lowest amount allowed on the next hand. If I lose again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the next hand again etc. Once I win I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the initial wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original bet. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I return the wager back down to the original amount.

I am very strict and never "chicken out". It gets very enjoyable sometimes. If you succeed at a few hands in series your wagers go up very fast. Before you realize it you are betting $100-200/ hand. I have had fantastic runs a number of times now. I left a $5 table at the Venetian a few years ago with $750 after 45 mins using this method! And a few days ago in Sin City I left a game with $1200!

You must understand that you can lose much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be surprised at the streaks you witness wagering this way. Below is a chart of what you would wager if you kept winning at a $5 game.

Bet five dollar
Take 5 dollar paid to you, leave the original five dollar wager

Bet 5 dollar
Leave five dollar paid to you for a total bet of 10 dollar

Bet 10 dollar
Take ten dollar paid-out to you, leave the first ten dollar wager

Wager ten dollar
Leave $10 paid to you for a total wager of twenty dollar

Bet $20
Take $20 paid to you, leave the initial twenty dollar wager

Wager $20
Leave $20 paid to you for a total bet of 40 dollar

Wager forty dollar
Take $40 paid-out to you, leave the original forty dollar bet

Wager 40 dollar
Leave $40 paid-out to you for a total bet of eighty dollar

Bet $80
Take 80 dollar paid to you, leave the initial $80 wager

Bet $80
Leave $80 paid to you for a total bet of one hundred and sixty dollar

Wager $160
Take 160 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial $160 bet

If you left at this instance you would be up three hundred and fifteen dollars !!

It is herculean to go on a streak this long, but it often happen. And when it does you can NOT alter and lower your wager or the end result won’t be the same.
