I have played countless of rounds of vingt-et-un. I began working my way into the gambling halls when I was 16. I have bet on online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short while. With all that said I have still spent a lot of money at vingt-et-un. The casinos have made it very hard to defeat the game.

I still like the game and wager on a regular basis. Over this time period I have enjoyed a variation of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get rich with this method or beat the house, still you will experience an abundance of fun. This method is built on the fact that vingt-et-un seems to be a game of runs. When you are on fire your hot, and when you’re not you are NOT!

I bet with basic strategy chemin de fer. When I don’t win I bet the table minimum on the subsequent hand. If I do not win again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the next hand again etc. As soon as I profit I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the initial wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I lower the bet back down to the original bet.

I am very disciplined and never "chicken out". It gets very thrilling at times. If you win a few hands in sequence your bets go up very quickly. Before you know it you are wagering $100-200/ hand. I have had great streaks a number of times now. I left a $5 table at the Venetian a few years back with $750 after 35 mins using this tactic! And a couple of days ago in Vegas I left a game with $1200!

You need to comprehend that you can give away a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be surprised at the streaks you notice playing this way. Here is a chart of what you would bet if you continue winning at a five dollar table.

Wager 5 dollar
Take five dollar paid-out to you, leave the original $5 wager

Wager five dollar
Leave five dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 10 dollar

Bet $10
Take ten dollar paid to you, leave the initial 10 dollar wager

Wager ten dollar
Leave 10 dollar paid to you for a total wager of $20

Wager $20
Take 20 dollar paid to you, leave the initial twenty dollar bet

Bet $20
Leave $20 paid-out to you for a total bet of 40 dollar

Wager $40
Take $40 paid-out to you, leave the initial 40 dollar wager

Bet forty dollar
Leave forty dollar paid to you for a total wager of eighty dollar

Wager eighty dollar
Take $80 paid-out to you, leave the first 80 dollar bet

Wager eighty dollar
Leave 80 dollar paid to you for a total wager of 160 dollar

Wager 160 dollar
Take 160 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original one hundred and 60 dollar bet

If you left at this point you would be up 315 dollar !!

It’s herculean to go on a run this long, but it occasionally happen. And when it does you mustn’t deviate and lower your bet or the end result won’t be the same.
