I have wagered on countless of rounds of twenty-one. I started working my way into the casinos when I was 16. I have gambled on online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short while. Given all that I have still lost an abundance of money at blackjack. The gambling dens have made it very hard to beat the game.
I still like the game and wager on a regular basis. Over the years I have enjoyed a type of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You definitely will not get flush with this tactic or defeat the house, however you will experience a lot of fun. This method is based on the idea that 21 seems to be a match of runs. When you’re on fire your on fire, and when you are not you’re NOT!
I wager with basic strategy blackjack. When I lose I bet the lowest amount allowed on the next hand. If I do not win again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand again etc. Whenever I profit I take the payout paid to me and I bet the initial wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I keep wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I lower the bet back down to the original bet.
I am very strict and do not "chicken out". It gets extremely exciting at times. If you win a few hands in a row your wagers go up very quick. Before you know it you are wagering $100-200per hand. I have had great streaks a number of times now. I left a $5 table at the Flamingo a number of years ago with $750 after 30 minutes using this tactic! And a few months ago in Vegas I left a game with $1200!
You need to understand that you can squander a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be astonished at the runs you witness wagering this way. Below is a guide of what you would bet if you continue winning at a five dollar table.
Bet five dollar
Take $5 paid-out to you, leave the original $5 wager
Bet $5
Leave five dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $10
Bet ten dollar
Take ten dollar paid-out to you, leave the first ten dollar bet
Wager 10 dollar
Leave $10 paid-out to you for a total wager of $20
Bet $20
Take 20 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original $20 wager
Bet 20 dollar
Leave 20 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of forty dollar
Wager forty dollar
Take forty dollar paid-out to you, leave the first $40 wager
Bet $40
Leave forty dollar paid to you for a total bet of $80
Bet 80 dollar
Take $80 paid-out to you, leave the first 80 dollar bet
Bet $80
Leave $80 paid to you for a total bet of one hundred and sixty dollar
Wager 160 dollar
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid to you, leave the original 160 dollar wager
If you left at this point you would be up $315 !!
It’s difficult to go on a run this long, but it does happen. And when it does you must NOT alter and lower your bet or the end result will not be the same.
