I have enjoyed millions of rounds of twenty-one. I started sneaking into the casinos when I was 16. I have played online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a little while. With all that said I have still lost an abundance of cash at blackjack. The gambling dens have made it very hard to defeat the game.
I still enjoy the game and play on a frequent basis. Over the years I have bet on a type of blackjack called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get flush with this tactic or beat the casino, still you will experience a lot of fun. This method is founded on the fact that blackjack appears to be a game of runs. When you’re on fire your on fire, and when you are not you are NOT!
I gamble with basic strategy 21. When I do not win I bet the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand. If I lose again I wager the table minimum on the successive hand again etc. Once I hit I take the payout paid to me and I bet the original wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I win again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I return the action back down to the original bet.
I am very disciplined and never back out. It gets extremely exciting sometimes. If you succeed at a few hands in a row your bets go up very quick. Before you know it you are gambling $100-200/ hand. I have had awesome runs a few times now. I left a $5 table at the Flamingo a few years ago with $750 after 35 mins using this technique! And a few days ago in Vegas I left a table with $1200!
You must understand that you can give up much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be surprised at the runs you see betting this way. Below is a chart of what you would bet if you kept winning at a five dollar table.
Wager 5 dollar
Take five dollar paid to you, leave the original 5 dollar bet
Wager five dollar
Leave $5 paid to you for a total bet of $10
Wager $10
Take $10 paid to you, leave the initial 10 dollar wager
Bet 10 dollar
Leave 10 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 20 dollar
Wager $20
Take twenty dollar paid to you, leave the initial $20 bet
Bet twenty dollar
Leave 20 dollar paid to you for a total wager of $40
Bet 40 dollar
Take 40 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial forty dollar bet
Wager $40
Leave 40 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of eighty dollar
Wager 80 dollar
Take $80 paid-out to you, leave the initial eighty dollar wager
Wager 80 dollar
Leave 80 dollar paid to you for a total wager of one hundred and sixty dollar
Bet 160 dollar
Take $160 paid-out to you, leave the original 1 hundred and sixty dollar wager
If you left at this moment you would be up three hundred and 15 dollars !!
It’s difficult to go on a run this long, but it occasionally happen. And when it does you can’t deviate and drop your wager or the final result will not be the same.
