I have enjoyed millions of rounds of vingt-et-un. I began sneaking into the casinos when I was still underage. I have played online twenty-one, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short time. Given all that I have still spent a lot of bankroll at blackjack. The casinos have made it almost impossible to beat the house.
I still like the game and play on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have bet on a type of blackjack called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get flush with this method or defeat the house, however you will experience a lot of fun. This method is built on the idea that vingt-et-un appears to be a game of runs. When you are hot your on fire, and when you’re not you’re NOT!
I gamble with basic strategy chemin de fer. When I lose I wager the table minimum on the subsequent hand. If I do not win again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand again etc. Whenever I win I take the payout paid to me and I wager the original bet again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original bet. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I lower the bet back down to the original sum.
I am very strict and do not back out. It gets very enjoyable sometimes. If you succeed at a few hands in sequence your wagers go up very fast. Before you know it you are wagering $100-200/ hand. I have had awesome streaks a couple of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Venetian a number of years ago with $750 after 45 mins using this technique! And a few months ago in Atlantic City I left a table with $1200!
You must understand that you can give away much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be aghast at the streaks you witness gamble this way. Here is a chart of what you would wager if you kept winning at a five dollar game.
Bet $5
Take $5 paid-out to you, leave the first five dollar wager
Wager $5
Leave five dollar paid to you for a total bet of 10 dollar
Bet $10
Take 10 dollar paid to you, leave the first ten dollar bet
Wager $10
Leave 10 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 20 dollar
Wager $20
Take $20 paid to you, leave the first twenty dollar bet
Wager twenty dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $40
Bet forty dollar
Take forty dollar paid to you, leave the initial 40 dollar wager
Bet forty dollar
Leave forty dollar paid to you for a total wager of 80 dollar
Bet $80
Take 80 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial $80 bet
Wager eighty dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of one hundred and sixty dollar
Wager $160
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid-out to you, leave the first $160 bet
If you departed at this point you would be up three hundred and fifteen dollars !!
It’s difficult to go on a streak this long, but it can happen. And when it does you can NOT deviate and lower your bet or the end result won’t be the same.
