I have wagered on countless of hands of twenty-one. I started sneaking into the gambling dens when I was 16. I have enjoyed online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short while. With all that said I have still spent all kinds of money at chemin de fer. The gambling halls have made it very hard to beat the casino.
I still like the game and bet on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have wagered on a type of twenty-one called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get flush with this tactic or defeat the house, still you will experience a lot of fun. This tactic is centered on the fact that vingt-et-un appears to be a match of streaks. When you are on fire your hot, and when you are not you are NOT!
I play basic strategy twenty-one. When I lose I wager the lowest amount allowed on the next hand. If I lose again I bet the table minimum on the next hand again etc. Once I win I take the payout paid to me and I bet the initial wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I lower the bet back down to the original value.
I am very strict and never "chicken out". It gets very fun at times. If you succeed at a few hands in a row your wagers go up very quick. Before you know it you are betting $100-200per hand. I have had great runs a number of times now. I left a $5 table at the Wynn a number of years back with $750 after 45 mins using this method! And a few weeks ago in Macau I left a game with $1200!
You need to understand that you can squander a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be amazed at the runs you notice playing this way. Below is a chart of what you would wager if you kept winning at a 5 dollar game.
Bet five dollar
Take 5 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first five dollar bet
Bet $5
Leave $5 paid to you for a total bet of 10 dollar
Wager 10 dollar
Take ten dollar paid to you, leave the first ten dollar bet
Wager ten dollar
Leave ten dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of twenty dollar
Bet $20
Take $20 paid-out to you, leave the first $20 wager
Wager 20 dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 40 dollar
Wager $40
Take 40 dollar paid to you, leave the original forty dollar wager
Bet $40
Leave forty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 80 dollar
Wager $80
Take eighty dollar paid-out to you, leave the original 80 dollar wager
Wager eighty dollar
Leave 80 dollar paid to you for a total bet of one hundred and sixty dollar
Wager one hundred and sixty dollar
Take 160 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first 1 hundred and 60 dollar wager
If you left at this point you would be up three hundred and 15 dollars !!
It is herculean to go on a streak this long, but it occasionally happen. And when it does you can’t deviate and drop your bet or the end result will not be the same.
