I have wagered on millions of rounds of twenty-one. I began working my way into the casinos when I was 16. I have played online vingt-et-un, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short time. With all that said I have still lost a lot of bankroll at vingt-et-un. The gambling dens have made it basically impossible to beat the house.

I still like the game and gamble on a regular basis. Over this time period I have bet on a variation of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You will not get rich with this method or defeat the casino, nonetheless you will have an abundance of fun. This method is centered on the fact that blackjack seems to be a game of runs. When you are on fire your hot, and when you are not you are NOT!

I wager with basic strategy blackjack. When I lose I bet the table minimum on the next hand. If I do not win again I bet the table minimum on the successive hand again etc. Once I profit I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the original bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I lower the wager back down to the original value.

I am very strict and do not "chicken out". It gets very enjoyable sometimes. If you succeed at a few hands in sequence your bets go up very fast. Before you know it you are wagering $100-200per hand. I have had fantastic runs a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Paris a few years back with $750 after 20 mins using this technique! And a number of days ago in Las Vegas I left a game with $1200!

You must understand that you can give away much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be astonished at the streaks you witness wagering this way. Here is a chart of what you would bet if you continue winning at a $5 table.

Wager five dollar
Take five dollar paid to you, leave the first $5 bet

Wager $5
Leave five dollar paid to you for a total bet of 10 dollar

Wager ten dollar
Take 10 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial 10 dollar wager

Wager ten dollar
Leave ten dollar paid to you for a total bet of 20 dollar

Wager twenty dollar
Take twenty dollar paid to you, leave the initial $20 wager

Wager $20
Leave $20 paid-out to you for a total wager of forty dollar

Bet $40
Take forty dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial 40 dollar bet

Wager $40
Leave forty dollar paid to you for a total wager of $80

Bet $80
Take eighty dollar paid to you, leave the original eighty dollar wager

Bet eighty dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of one hundred and sixty dollar

Bet 160 dollar
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid to you, leave the original $160 wager

If you departed at this moment you would be up $315 !!

It is herculean to go on a run this long, but it often happen. And when it does you mustn’t deviate and drop your wager or the end result won’t be the same.
