I have played millions of hands of 21. I began sneaking into the gambling halls when I was still underage. I have wagered on online twenty-one, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short while. Given all that I have still lost a lot of money at chemin de fer. The casinos have made it basically impossible to defeat the game.
I still like the game and wager on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have enjoyed a variation of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get loaded with this method or beat the house, however you will experience a lot of fun. This method is built on the idea that blackjack seems to be a match of runs. When you are hot your on fire, and when you’re not you are NOT!
I gamble with basic strategy chemin de fer. When I don’t win I wager the table minimum on the next hand. If I don’t win again I bet the table minimum on the subsequent hand again etc. Whenever I win I take the payout paid to me and I bet the initial wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original bet. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I lower the action back down to the original bet.
I am very disciplined and never "chicken out". It gets extremely enjoyable sometimes. If you win a few hands in series your bets go up very quick. Before you know it you are betting $100-200per hand. I have had awesome runs a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Luxor a couple of years back with $750 after 45 minutes using this method! And a number of weeks ago in Vegas I left a game with $1200!
You must understand that you can give away a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be amazed at the streaks you witness gamble this way. Below is a chart of what you would wager if you kept winning at a 5 dollar table.
Wager $5
Take 5 dollar paid to you, leave the first $5 bet
Bet five dollar
Leave $5 paid to you for a total wager of 10 dollar
Wager ten dollar
Take ten dollar paid to you, leave the initial $10 wager
Wager 10 dollar
Leave ten dollar paid to you for a total bet of 20 dollar
Wager 20 dollar
Take twenty dollar paid to you, leave the first 20 dollar wager
Wager $20
Leave twenty dollar paid to you for a total bet of forty dollar
Wager $40
Take $40 paid-out to you, leave the original 40 dollar bet
Bet 40 dollar
Leave forty dollar paid to you for a total wager of $80
Wager 80 dollar
Take 80 dollar paid to you, leave the initial $80 wager
Bet eighty dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $160
Wager $160
Take $160 paid-out to you, leave the original 1 hundred and sixty dollar wager
If you left at this instance you would be up 315 dollar !!
It is hard to go on a run this long, but it can happen. And when it does you must NOT deviate and drop your wager or the end result won’t be the same.
