I have enjoyed millions of rounds of vingt-et-un. I began sneaking into the gambling dens when I was still underage. I have bet on online 21, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short while. With all that said I have still lost an abundance of bankroll at blackjack. The gambling halls have made it very hard to beat the house.
I still enjoy the game and play on a frequent basis. Over the years I have gambled on a type of blackjack called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get flush with this method or beat the casino, still you will have a lot of fun. This method is built on the idea that vingt-et-un appears to be a match of runs. When you are hot your on fire, and when you are not you are NOT!
I wager with basic strategy blackjack. When I don’t win I wager the table minimum on the successive hand. If I lose again I bet the table minimum on the successive hand again etc. As soon as I hit I take the payout paid to me and I wager the original bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I lower the bet back down to the original amount.
I am very strict and do not "chicken out". It gets very enjoyable sometimes. If you win a few hands in sequence your wagers go up very fast. Before you realize it you are gambling $100-200per hand. I have had fantastic runs a few times now. I left a $5 table at the Venetian a couple of years back with $750 after 30 mins using this method! And a couple of days ago in Atlantic City I left a table with $1200!
You need to understand that you can lose a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be amazed at the streaks you notice playing this way. Below is a chart of what you would bet if you kept winning at a $5 game.
Wager 5 dollar
Take five dollar paid to you, leave the original five dollar bet
Bet five dollar
Leave $5 paid to you for a total wager of ten dollar
Wager $10
Take 10 dollar paid to you, leave the initial ten dollar bet
Wager ten dollar
Leave $10 paid to you for a total wager of $20
Bet $20
Take $20 paid to you, leave the initial $20 bet
Bet 20 dollar
Leave 20 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of forty dollar
Wager $40
Take 40 dollar paid to you, leave the initial forty dollar bet
Bet forty dollar
Leave forty dollar paid to you for a total wager of $80
Bet $80
Take 80 dollar paid to you, leave the first eighty dollar bet
Bet $80
Leave eighty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of one hundred and sixty dollar
Bet 160 dollar
Take 160 dollar paid to you, leave the initial 160 dollar bet
If you departed at this point you would be up 3 hundred and fifteen dollars !!
It’s herculean to go on a run this long, but it often happen. And when it does you can NOT alter and drop your wager or the end result won’t be the same.
