I have gambled on countless of rounds of chemin de fer. I began working my way into the gambling dens when I was 16. I have bet on online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a little while. With all that said I have still spent a lot of cash at vingt-et-un. The gambling halls have made it very hard to beat the game.
I still like the game and gamble on a frequent basis. Over the years I have enjoyed a variation of twenty-one called "The Take it Leave it Method". You will not get rich with this tactic or beat the casino, still you will have a lot of fun. This method is built on the fact that vingt-et-un seems to be a game of runs. When you are on fire your on fire, and when you’re not you’re NOT!
I play basic strategy chemin de fer. When I lose I wager the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand. If I don’t win again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand again etc. Once I hit I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the original wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I return the bet back down to the original bet.
I am very strict and do not "chicken out". It gets very thrilling on occasion. If you succeed at a few hands in sequence your bets go up very fast. Before you realize it you are wagering $100-200per hand. I have had awesome streaks a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the MGM a number of years ago with $750 after 30 mins using this method! And a few weeks ago in Macau I left a game with $1200!
You have to comprehend that you can give up much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be astonished at the streaks you witness gamble this way. Here is a chart of what you would wager if you continue winning at a five dollar game.
Wager 5 dollar
Take five dollar paid to you, leave the initial $5 wager
Bet five dollar
Leave $5 paid to you for a total bet of $10
Bet $10
Take $10 paid-out to you, leave the first ten dollar bet
Bet ten dollar
Leave 10 dollar paid to you for a total wager of $20
Bet 20 dollar
Take twenty dollar paid to you, leave the first twenty dollar bet
Wager twenty dollar
Leave 20 dollar paid to you for a total wager of $40
Wager forty dollar
Take 40 dollar paid to you, leave the original forty dollar wager
Wager $40
Leave 40 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of eighty dollar
Bet $80
Take 80 dollar paid to you, leave the original 80 dollar bet
Wager 80 dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of one hundred and sixty dollar
Bet $160
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid to you, leave the initial $160 wager
If you left at this moment you would be up $315 !!
It’s herculean to go on a run this long, but it does happen. And when it does you can NOT alter and lower your bet or the end result will not be the same.
