I have gambled on countless of rounds of blackjack. I began sneaking into the casinos when I was still underage. I have played online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short time. Given all that I have still lost all kinds of money at 21. The gambling halls have made it very hard to beat the game.
I still like the game and wager on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have bet on a variation of twenty-one called "The Take it Leave it Method". You won’t get flush with this tactic or beat the house, nonetheless you will have a lot of fun. This method is founded on the fact that 21 seems to be a match of runs. When you’re on fire your hot, and when you’re not you are NOT!
I gamble with basic strategy twenty-one. When I do not win I bet the table minimum on the next hand. If I don’t win again I bet the table minimum on the next hand again etc. Whenever I profit I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the original bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I keep wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I return the wager back down to the original value.
I am very disciplined and do not "chicken out". It gets very exciting sometimes. If you succeed at a few hands in sequence your wagers go up very fast. Before you know it you are wagering $100-200per hand. I have had fantastic runs a number of times now. I left a $5 table at the Flamingo a few years ago with $750 after 20 mins using this technique! And a number of months ago in Sin City I left a table with $1200!
You have to understand that you can lose much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be astonished at the runs you see gamble this way. Below is a guide of what you would bet if you continue winning at a five dollar game.
Bet 5 dollar
Take $5 paid-out to you, leave the initial $5 bet
Bet $5
Leave 5 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of ten dollar
Wager 10 dollar
Take $10 paid to you, leave the initial 10 dollar bet
Bet ten dollar
Leave $10 paid to you for a total bet of 20 dollar
Wager $20
Take $20 paid to you, leave the original twenty dollar wager
Bet $20
Leave twenty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 40 dollar
Wager 40 dollar
Take forty dollar paid to you, leave the first 40 dollar bet
Wager $40
Leave 40 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of eighty dollar
Bet 80 dollar
Take eighty dollar paid to you, leave the first $80 bet
Wager eighty dollar
Leave $80 paid-out to you for a total bet of one hundred and sixty dollar
Bet $160
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial 160 dollar wager
If you left at this point you would be up 3 hundred and fifteen dollars !!
It is herculean to go on a streak this long, but it will happen. And when it does you can’t deviate and lower your bet or the final result won’t be the same.
